Handing my phone to my kids
Kids tap everything, and Photos is one swipe away. Use Guided Access to keep them in the app you chose, and keep private photos in a vault with its own passcode, so even an accidental swipe can't reach them.
Keep them in one app
- Turn on Guided Access in Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access.
- Open the game or video, and triple-click the side button to start it.
- Triple-click again and enter your code to end it.
Keep private photos out of reach
Move them into Mavaul. It locks the moment you leave the app, opens only with its own passcode or your Face ID, and wrong guesses lock it for longer each time. On the home screen it can look like a calculator, and the calculator really works.

Can my kid open the vault by guessing?
Five tries, then Mavaul locks for 15 minutes, then 1, 3 and 6 hours.
Does Mavaul stay open if I hand over the phone?
It locks as soon as you leave it, unless you set a lock delay.
