# Medical photos I don't want in my camera roll

Photos of a rash, a scar, a bruise, a before and after: useful for your doctor, awful to have pop up in a Memory or a scroll. Keep them in a vault, in a folder, in order, and show them on your terms.

## Keep them private
1. Import them into Mavaul and let it delete the originals. Empty Recently Deleted.
2. Make a folder for them, so they stay together.
3. They're encrypted with AES-256 and won't appear in Photos, Memories or widgets.

## Show the doctor
Open the folder, tap the edges to step through, and pinch to zoom on the detail. Your camera roll never comes into it.

## Questions
### Will medical photos show up in Memories?
If they're in Photos, they can. Moving them out stops that.

### Can I edit or crop them in the vault?
Yes, with Premium: adjust light and crop, without leaving the vault.
