# Mavaul

> Private gallery vault for iOS and Android focused on local-first privacy and strong on-device protection.

Mavaul protects private photos and videos on-device with AES-256 encryption, Face ID or passcode access, and optional premium features such as Email Recovery and Encrypted Backup to storage you control. Content stays on your device by default; Mavaul does not host backups.
