### Local WiFi Viewing
Open a temporary local connection for devices on your network. View from a computer, tablet, or TV without uploading media to the internet.

### Access Controls
Passcode and biometric settings keep access predictable. Security options stay focused on protecting local media storage.

### Email Recovery
Optional premium feature that securely emails your recovery key as a safety net. If you forget your passcode, request the key again and enter it manually to regain access — without compromising on-device encryption.

### Encrypted Backup
Back up your encrypted vault to Dropbox or Nextcloud. Your storage. Our encryption. Optional premium feature — vault data is encrypted on-device before upload, and Mavaul does not host backups.
