# Slideshow

Most slideshows are all or nothing. Want to stay on a photo? You exit. Want to skip one or go back? You exit, or the show stops. Mavaul's slideshow is built to be touched: hold to stop on a photo, tap to pass to the next or previous one, or do nothing and let it play. Whatever you do, the show keeps going.

## How to use it
1. Open a photo and start the slideshow. Leave it be and it plays on, with a thin progress hint for when the next photo is due.
2. Hold a finger on the screen to stop on a photo. Let go and the show carries on from there.
3. Tap the right or left edge, or swipe, to go to the next or previous photo. The show keeps playing from the new one.
4. Turn on auto zoom for a slow push into each photo. With Premium, pick how long each one stays on screen.

## Good to know
- The slideshow plays inside the vault. Photos are decrypted as they come up, and cleared when the vault locks.
- Want it on a TV? [Wi-Fi Share](/features/wi-fi-share/) opens the vault in the TV's browser, with a slideshow, over your Wi-Fi only.

## Questions
### How do I pause the slideshow?
Hold a finger on the screen. The show stops on that photo until you let go, then carries on.

### Can I skip a photo without stopping the slideshow?
Yes. Tap the edge or swipe to go to the next or previous photo. The show keeps going from there.

### Can I change the slideshow speed?
Yes, with Premium. Pick 1 to 30 seconds per photo. The default is 5 seconds.

### Does the slideshow zoom in?
If you want it to. Turn on auto zoom for a slow push into each photo. It's free.

### Can I play the slideshow on a TV?
Yes. Use Wi-Fi Share to open the vault in a browser on the TV, then start the slideshow there.
